  • Items may be returned and exchanged for other item(s) within 30 days from the date of purchase providing(a) the item has not been used, damaged, or dirtied; (b) the receipt is presented with the items to be exchanged; (c) for Shop Chantilly items you may only exchange for an item from the same supplier (please ask for assistance); and (d) the full value of the exchange must be used in-store at one time – no cash or credit will be issued for taking something of lower value, but you can top up if you want to get something of greater value.
  • Management reserves the right to deny certain exchanges.
  • Please note, exchanges may only be made within each shop(i.e. Calisa items cannot be exchanged for items from The Ginger Tree and vice versa).
  • Gifted items: For items that have been gifted, the gift-receiver may exchange their gifted item in line with the same conditions above, provided that the item they wish to exchange still has the original price tag with barcode.
  • Value of exchange: Exchanges to the same value are permitted. The full value of the exchange must be used in-store at one time. No change will be given if the full value is not used. No credit may be carried. Top-ups can be paid where you spend more than the value of the exchange.
  • Faulty items: Please check all purchases prior to leaving the shop with your purchase. No refunds or exchanges will be facilitated for items reported faulty after they leave our premises.
  • Custom orders are not eligible for exchange or refund. Please ensure you supply correct requirements when placing an order.

No Refunds/Exchanges:
We do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item you purchased is damaged during delivery. If you receive a defective item, please do not sign for it. The 3rd party delivery provider will be responsible for items damaged during delivery. Once you have signed for your items, we consider the sale final and no returns, exchanges or refunds will be considered.

Demelza is an amazing helper at the shop. She’s recently qualified as an interior designer and can help you find what you’re looking for, wrap gifts and handle anything we give her with cheerful efficiency.

Hannah | Shop Manager

Hannah is the friendly face you’ll meet as you walk in the shop. She knows the shop and its products from front to back! And is amazing at connecting with people as well as connecting people with products.

Nicola | Marketing Manager

Nicola is the face behind our social media, she loves putting what we do into words and images & sharing it with you! She has a knack at making herself indispensable in any area she works on, so you’ll find her with a finger in every pie (department!) from directing the styling of the shop to managing consignment suppliers, and everything in between!

Ruth | The Owner

Ruth is our leader, visionary, dreamer & go-getter! She does it all – buying stock, meeting suppliers, designing furniture, directing style focuses, overseeing our workshop, encouraging staff & even charming customers. Often behind-the-scenes, she’s the one always thinking about what we can do to make your home beautiful – how we can fulfill your lifestyle needs.
